Successful people are not the ones who don't make mistakes, but they are the ones who learn from life's experiences and don't repeat a mistake. Most effective way to evolve in life, is to make mistakes and learn. Second most effective way is to learn from other's experiences instead. Cars were made only because mankind stopped re-inventing the wheel, learnt from predecessors' successes and failures and evolved further.
