It is the Intellect in the Athma which connects the Paramathma, The more powerful the Intellect, the mind will then produce good and useful thoughts. The secret to improve the intellect power is that the Athma has to go in silence remembering Paramathma. More over school education has nothing to do with the intellect power. There is no guarantee that a Phd will perform Raja yoga better and it is also not true that a illiterate cannot do Raja Yoga better.
