I wrote this one over the summer before my girlfriend had to leave for college. She moved away to Iowa to pursue her dream of becoming a music educator. I'm still living in Illinois trying to make a better life for myself through my music.

This song is my expression of our situation and a representation of the struggles a couple faces when transitioning into a long distance relationship. I'm hoping our story can help others deal with a similar situation and help them realize the bitter sweetness of long distances!
