I had the desire to get away in my favorite spot in the Loess Hills of Iowa for a day of hiking and lunch this past Monday...but so did a few dozen other people. To escaped the ironically crowded woods, I found a little secluded the nook above the trail system where I could blend into the trees and have my cup of coffee in solitude.
