The JMFC Court in Mysuru has remanded accused Farhan Pasha in Tanveer Sait attack case to 12-day police custody. The police had requested for 15-day custody. A police team headed by DCP Muthuraj is investigating the Tanveer Sait attack case. Accused Farhan Pasha had tried to escape after assaulting Congress MLA Tanveer Sait during a wedding reception on Sunday night. Tanveer Sait is being treated at Columbia Asia hospital in Mysuru. Accused Farhan Pasha had reportedly told the police that he assaulted the MLA for not helping to get a job but the police are not ready to believe his version and are probing in all angles to uncover the plot.
