Laverne flaunted her figure in the sheer black number which showed off nearly all of her full chest.
All that obscured her intimate bits were two tiny slivers of dark fabric which transitioned down into a lush velvet panel
Going for full drama, the Jolt's actress' gown also featured completely sheer sides, making it clear she had ditched underthings for the event.
As the star turned to the side, she offered up a saucy look at her flank and her derriere.
Laverne rounded out her look with clear PVC heels that had glass slipper-like appeal.
Then, she amped up the glamour with her makeup, sporting a deep, smokey eye and glossy nude lips.
Putting her face at the forefront, Laverne styled her hair back into a sleek bun.
At the event she cozied up to the film's director, writer and star Elizabeth Banks.
Laverne has a cameo as 'bomb instructor' in the Kristen Stewart-fronted reboot.
She thanked Banks for inviting her to be in the film on Instagram, sharing a video of the pair hugging along with the caption: 'I love you Mrs. Banks! Thanks for the opportunity to be in this incredible film. Congratulations.'
