Store owner of Noah’s Cutz & Stylz hair salon Noah Floyd says he and his customers were victimized by police who were responding to an active shooter report in a Texas mall. Noah communicated the fear that he and his customers felt over getting on the floor at gunpoint.
Police responded that officers commanded everyone to lay on the ground to assess and control the situation and that despite the frustrations conveyed in the audio, ensuring the safety of citizens is a top priority.
The active shooter report came when kids started to throw benches and bins inside the mall, the loud noises were mistaken as gunshots and reported to the police.
