Child Rescued From Rubble After Albania Earthquake

A child was rescued from the rubble of a collapsed building, after an earthquake rocked the Albanian city of Durres, Tuesday, November 26.

READ MORE: A strong earthquake struck the area surrounding Albania's capital early Tuesday, killing at least 18 people and injuring hundreds.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was a magnitude 6.4 with an epicenter 30 kilometers northwest of the capital, Tirana.

A powerful aftershock in the Adriatic Sea of a magnitude of at least 5 struck three hours later.

Rescue crews, including some from other European countries, worked to rescue people from damaged and destroyed buildings.
