Volunteers of Project Street Dog Thailand discovered this heavily neglected blind dog in a cage at the local shelter in Hua Hin. The dog was previously found on the street by an expat and taken to the shelter. A shelter where between 1500 and 2000 dogs are staying and where hardly any help is available. She was taken to the animal clinic and examined there. She is completely blind and is full of ticks and fleas, so that she has already become half bald. Blood tests have been done and it appears that she suffers from blood parasites.
She has since been named Orange. After just a month of medication, she now recovers and has new fur. Even though she’s a blind dog but she’s such a friendly dog and she’s still able to walk and play.
Thankfully everyone to bring her new life and give a ton of love she deserves.
