VLOGMAS 2019 DAY 8! Grief and struggles through the holidays | farm boys

As usual I HAVE to start the day out with coffee and the Word. Ephesians 6 hits the spot every time! I definitely needed the armor for tackling the day!
We had a special honor of reading to Elijah's 1st grade classroom. We love Pete The Cat and even learned that the author lives close to us! Isaiah LOVED it and didn't want to leave!
Throw in a little drug test lol and a few other errands!

The farm boys found a flock of "tweetie birds" in the hay field and they thought they could catch one! Too cute! We are so thankful to live on a family farm!!! Raising funny country boys while teaching them integrity and good work ethic is a full time job. Everyone has chores on the family.

The holiday and Christmas seasons are tough on a lot of people, even those that have beautiful lives like mine. But here I am being raw and uncut as I share my heart about depression, anxiety and sadness AND how to fight it with the scriptures and faith! As you are checking your list twice, be sure not to forget to get in the Word and let the love of Jesus wash over you. He is the reason for the season and He doesn't want you to struggle through it all!
