We're The Folk of Chelsfield

This is the 2019 Chelsfield Village Christmas Single written by Lester Barnes and Dave Griffiths. We're the Folk of Chelsfield is a respectful homage to the wonderful and greatly missed Bellowhead. 57 people perform on the song which was written and recorded between August and November 2019.

The lyrics draw from The Secret History of Chelsfield, a series of articles written in the Chelsfield Village Fair Programme each year in order to provide content other than adverts. Each articles contains a handful of historical accounts involving Chelsfield. All of them are entirely made up.
