No known breaches to government systems arising from loss of ICT equipment In a written parliamentary reply, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean revealed that there has been no known cases of unauthorised access to government systems as a result of lost infocomm technology (ICT) equipment. He said from the time the government started central tracking in 2017, an average of 182 reports of lost ICT equipment were made each year. Loss equipment included public service access cards, laptops and about 55 VPN (virtual private network) tokens yearly.
