Examining Matthew 24, Part 6: Is Preterism Applicable to Last Days Prophecies?

A number of exJWs seem to be persuaded by the idea of Preterism, that all the prophecies in Revelation and Daniel, as well as those in Matthew 24 and 25 were fulfilled in the first century. Can we definitely prove otherwise? Are there any adverse effects resulting from a Preterist belief?
