Senator Risa Hontiveros is -- recommending a lifestyle check on the Immigration officials tagged in an alleged bribery scheme involving Chinese tourists. Some immigration agents are accused of accepting bribes to let Chinese workers enter the country as tourists. Hontiveros had also bared a so-called 'Pastillas scheme' wherein Chinese nationals allegedly pay Immigration officials P10,000 concealed in rolled paper similar to the wrappers used for the sweet milk candies called pastillas.
