WILL DEODORANT WORK AS SKATEPARK WAX?

Today's debate, will deodorant work as skatepark wax? I have used some interesting things as wax. We've done soap, butter, wd40, and a few other items to see if they will work as a skate park wax replacement. All of which have been cheap alternatives and this one is no exception. I got this speed stick deodorant at the dollar tree across the street from cal oaks skatepark and it was under one dollar to purchase. When I spread the deodorant along the ledge, I realized that it does not apply very thickly. The deodorant is very thin when applied to the ledge as opposed to the soap that we used previously which was much thicker. Did the deodorant work as wax? Well, technically yes...but I would go the soap route first. Either way, I am stoked that we did this small experiment and now we have an answer to our question!
