Today we're going to take a look at the Tri-Fold Grill Grate for the Fireside Outdoor Pop-Up Fire Pit. Now the grill grate will come folded up in this storage bag. It's about 26" long, 6" wide, about 3" thick. Total weight on this is about seven pounds. Now, this vinyl carrying case is very easy to clean and makes storing and transporting your grill grate very simple. It has a nice shoulder strap that you can carry it on your shoulder. On this Tri-Fold Grate, let me just take it out of here and we'll go through the pieces.
Then I am going to demonstrate this how it goes on the grill itself. Here's the actual Tri-Fold Grate itself. You can see all folded up. Comes with the four aluminum legs to install on your fire pit and also the two aluminum rails, and as I mentioned, we'll show you how this installs in a minute here.I'm going to put the bag aside. Now, this Tri-Fold Grate will upgrade your Fireside Outdoor Pop-Up Fire Pit to an outdoor grill.
It is designed specifically to fit the Fireside Outdoor Pop-Up Fire Pit, part number 389CB001, which we do sell separately on our website. Now, this grill itself will give you a large cooking space. You can see when it's fully open this'll let you cook directly on the grill or you can put pots and pans in here. When it's open, it's about 22.5" wide, 16.5" long. It is a heavy duty 304 stainless steel construction, very easy to clean, helps resist rust, and each bar is a four millimeter diameter grill bar. The total grill holds up to about 50 pounds. Now, this folding grill will sit on these two aluminum rails and they're supported by these four aluminum legs.
As I mentioned, let me get that grill. I had pulled one of those fire pits and put it together just so we can demonstrate how this grill fits on there, and here's that fire pit right here all put together. Nice lightweight aluminum construction fire pit. When you want to install this grill, what you would do is take these aluminum legs, and again, you can twist them. They are adjustable, and then you just drop them on each post that's sticking up on this grill right here. This is where your fire would be in your fire pit, and then you'll take your aluminum side rails, just slide them in there, and then you can tighten it down to hold it into place.I'm just going to set it in there for now.
You got your side rails on there. Now, you can take your folding Tri-Fold Grill Grate and just lay it right on there just like that. That'll keep it above the fire, and as I can say, you could move it up or down a little bit, but the nice feature on this, this tri-fold design will let you choose how much cooking area you want to use.If you fully open it all the way, it'll give you 75% cooking area. If you want to fold this back, it'll reduce it to 50%, and the shorter area cooking area will give you added access here to add fuel to your fire, or you can let others just enjoy the open flame while you do the grilling. You can even reduce it back to 25% if you just want to use this little area here, but you can go anywhere from 25 to 50%, and then . Whoops. Let's go ahead and open it back out. There we go. There would be your 50%, and then if you'd open it out all the way, there would be your 75%, but that should do it for the review on the Tri-Fold Grill Grate for the Fire Side Outdoor Pop-Up Fire Pit.
