The Choice is Ours: The Blame Game

The Choice is Ours: The Blame Game We should not blame anybody on this planet for their behavior. Factors in our environment mainly determine our behavior. Countless influences throughout our lives build our character. From the time our biological senses start to develop, different environmental forces impact us and alter our perceptions of the world, which in turn shapes our behavior. Early childhood development has a substantial impact on behavioral habits in adults. The culture we currently live in reinforces the patterns that we acquired while growing up, and many undesirable behaviors are just products of prolonged exposure to detrimental environments. We can alter adverse reactions and responses by reconstructing our environment.

The Venus Project proposes a new social design that is drastically different from anything ever attempted in the history of mankind, an alternative vision of what the future can be if we apply what we already know to achieve a sustainable new world civilization. It calls for a straightforward redesign of our culture in which the age-old inadequacies of war, poverty, hunger, debt and unnecessary human suffering are avoidable and unacceptable. Anything less will result in a continuation of the same catalog of problems inherent in today's world.
