President Donald Trump just shut down CNN White House Correspondent Jim Acosta like a little toddler after Acosta peppered Trump with a rude question. Acosta asked Trump about Lev Parnas, a man who was all over GOP politics and has taken pictures with darn near everyone in the Trump administration.
He has a checked past but our campaign money system allows for all undesirable people to gain access – Bill Barr just indicted a pedophile for illegally giving money to Hillary for God’s sake.
Trump denied knowing Parnas and said he took a picture, one of the millions he takes, at a fundraiser.
But Acosta loves the spotlight and persisted until Trump had enough and shut him down.
“I don’t know him, I don’t know Parnas other than I guess I had pictures taken which I do with thousands of people,” Trump said. “I don’t know him at all, don’t know what he’s about, don’t know where he comes from. I know nothing about him.”
Acosta kept badgering Trump with the rude line of questioning causing Trump to hit back:
“Quiet,” Trump told Acosta. “You just have to take a look at the pictures. You just have to take a look at the polls. You see, I don’t need anybody’s help.”
Acosta later tried to clean up for the mess he caused and failed:
“Just asked Trump about Parnas claim that admin efforts in Ukraine were ‘all about 2020,’” Acosta said. “Trump insisted he’s only posed for photos with Parnas. Kept repeating that defense.”
